Arsenal showed their resilient side in the opening game of their English Premier League season as they fought back twice to win their game against Leicester City at The Emirates stadium.
Lacazette scored in his premier League debut after just two minutes but the hero of the night was Olivier Giroud who came off the bench to score the game’s 7th goal and Arsenal’s winning goal in the game.
Arsenal manager, Wenger faced a lot of critics for his team selection as he played a lot of players out of position with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain playing in defence as a right back.
However, the team started on a good foot with the first goal in the first two minutes but their joy was short lived as Leicester City equalized in the fifth minute Okazaki finding the back of the net.
Then Jamie Vardy shocked the fans at the Emirate with a well taken goal. Arsenal fought their way back and were rewarded for their effort with a goal just before the break.
Super Sub Giroud
The second half started slow for Arsenal and they punished once again by Jamie Vardy who headed the fifth goal of the game with a well taken header after he was left unmarked. But Arsenal picked themselves up with goals from Aaron Ramsey and Giroud sealing the 3 points for the team from London.
