Barcelona has revealed that they will be taking legal action against their former player Neymar who moved to PSG for breach contract for failing to fulfil his contract.
Neymar moved to Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month in a deal worth 222million Euros which is his release clause and smashed the record fee for a player’s transfer.
Neymar has started his Paris Saint-Germain career on a high note as he already three goals to his name in just two games for the club. But Barcelona still has a lot of issues with the player as they have revealed that they will sue the player to get 8.5 million Euros in compensation.
Neymar Broke His Contract Terms
According to the complaint, Neymar went against the terms of the contract that he signed last year in October which would have kept him at the club till 2021 and want to get 8.5 million Euros back in compensation for damages that his transfer has caused the club.
The club in their legal document state that if Neymar cannot make the payment then his club would have to shoulder the responsibilities. The club wants the settlement to cover damages and 10% in arrears payment.”

The club announced after his move to PSG that he will not get the loyalty bonus of 25 million Euros which he was entitled to if he had stayed beyond this season.
