A Pennsylvania high school graduate was shot and killed in what police revealed was a road rage incident in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Bianca Nikol Roberson
18-year-old Bianca Nikol Roberson was driving her green Chevrolet Malibu on Route 100 near Route 202 in West Goshen Township on Wednesday afternoon at approximately 5:30 P.M.
When she merged into a lane, a red pick-up truck also merged at the same time.
Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan described the incident as follows: “Route 100 South drops down from two lanes to one lane where it merges into Route 202 . . . At that point her [Roberson] car started jostling with a red pickup truck. Not actually hitting but both of them trying to merge together.”
The driver of the red pickup truck proceeded to pull out a gun in what police described as a “fit of road rage” and shoot Roberson in the head, killing her instantly. The assailant fled the scene after Roberson’s car ran off the road and crashed in a wooded area.
Hogan added: “A young woman has died senselessly.”
Roberson’s family devastated, perpetrator yet to be captured
“Every cop in three states is looking for this red pickup truck and looking for this defendant,” Hogan stated, making a plea for anyone to come forward with more information. “At this point we’re asking anybody who saw anything on Route 100 going into Route 202 to call the West Goshen Police Department right now, tonight. Give us every bit of information you can.”
The perpetrator of the crime is driving a small, red Chevrolet pick up truck with faded paint. He has been described as a white male aged 30-40 with pale brown or dark blonde hair, of medium build.
Friends and family of Roberson are mourning her sudden, violent passing and also urging anyone to come forward with more information to capture the perpetrator.
