Floyd Mayweather To Fight Conor McGregor

There is a chance that Floyd Mayweather Jr would get back in the ring as he revealed over the weekend that there is a 90 percent chance that he will fight Conor McGregor after months of taunting from the UFC fighter.

Floyd Mayweather who has a 49-0 unblemished record in boxing made this known during a fight involving his protégé and TMT member, Gervonta Davis, who successfully defended his IBF world super featherweight title in London.

Floyd Mayweather has been out of the ring since his last fight in 2015 has been constantly linked with a return against UFC lightweight champion, McGregor. And further fuelled this rumour by stating that McGregor is the only opponent that he wants to fight.
“If I ever get in the ring, there is a 90 percent chance that it will be against McGregor. He said. “What I worry about is the pay-per-view numbers and I have to know what the next step is”.
He further stated that there was no chance that he would come out of the retirement to fight another boxer as he has had enough of that.

“The fight that makes sense right now is the McGregor fight because I have done everything I want to do with boxers. Conor is a straight up fighter and professional and so am I. He is a champion in the Octagon and I am a champion in the ring”.
He further stated that it is important to give the fans the fight that they want to see and if the money is right, he will pick up his gloves again.

This is without a doubt going to be the fight of the century if it pulls through but the chances of it happening is extremely slim due to the financial issues involved in the fight between the UFC management and the Floyd Mayweather’s Money team.
