Boxing lovers might have to wait a little bit longer before they witness a fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua as the date for his hearing has not been decided yet.
The British Boxing Board of Control has not decided on the date to decide on his Anti-Doping case in order to reinstate his license.
Tyson Fury beat Vladimir Klitschko to win the World Heavy Weight title in 2015 only to lose the title due to his doping scandal. He was hoping to get back in the ring this year but he might have to wait longer than expected as he needs to wait on the UKAD ruling on his suspended drugs ban following the adjournment of the case in May.
Tyson cannot plan a comeback as his fate lies with the ruling of the British Boxing Board of Control
The General Secretary of the British Boxing Board of Control revealed that the case had been adjourned and they would require a new date.
“All the legal case that we have, takes a lot of time to resolve and now we are working on getting all the teams involved together and they also need to deal with their legal representatives. So it is often difficult to get the dates in line.”
Tyson Fury went on an internet rant after Anthony Joshua said that his 2015 win over Wladimir Klitschko was quite boring.
He stated that he wanted to get back in the ring to fight.
Anthony Joshua who is currently the IBF Champion and WBA Champion. But the latter has stated he would only fight Tyson if he is fully fit and asked him to get his fitness game back up.
“I am sure he cannot tie his lace right now so when he is fit, I’ll be ready for him”.
This is definitely one fight that everyone is looking forward.
