Incident has yet to be confirmed by US military authorities
KUWAIT CITY, Kuwait – An aircraft believed to be a U.S. unmanned drone crashed Sunday in the Al-Mutla Ridge region of Kuwait’s Al-Jahra province, according to Kuwaiti military sources.
In a statement issued on Twitter, the Kuwaiti General Staff has said a U.S. drone had crashed in the region without causing any damage or casualties.
“U.S. and Kuwaiti troops have begun investigations at the site in hopes of determining the cause of the crash,” Kuwaiti Defense Ministry sources told Anadolu Agency.
U.S. authorities, for their part, have yet to confirm the incident.
